AI does the interviews. Humans call the shots.
Join our Lean AI Assessment Pilot (LEAP) program. This is a structured 4-week program that will produce actionable AI use cases, prioritized in a roadmap for your selected workflows.
What “pilot” means for you
You get the full engagement — discovery, synthesis, roadmap, and readout — but we’re still refining how the AI-and-human handoff works. In exchange for partnering with us through that, you get:
- Reduced pricing vs. what the full offering will cost at launch.
- Direct access to the founding team throughout the engagement.
- Input on the product. Your feedback shapes the service as it becomes generally available.
- A real deliverable. This isn’t a demo — you walk away with a roadmap that fits your operating conditions.
What to expect before and during the pilot
Accountemist is launching a new service category that combines the best of Human and Artificial Intelligence. We conduct the first round of process interviews using Agent Vera, our AI Business Analyst. After the first round, a human will take over by validating the information with your process operators, running a design thinking session, and providing deliverables via an executive readout session.
Accounting firms with 20+ staff, a meaningful workflow bottleneck, and leadership that wants a grounded path into AI and automation.
Pilot starts as early as June 1, 2026. Engagements are 3-4 weeks long from time of onboarding. Last date to sign up is August 1, 2026.
Expect approximately 3-8 hours per person over the duration of the pilot. 3 people minimum to be included.
A structured engagement with a clearly defined scope, milestones, timelines, roles, deliverables, and fee. Detailed project plan and success resources to be provided upon acceptance to the program.
A defensible improvement roadmap for your most important workflows
This service is designed to help your team see where process improvements, automation, and AI can create measurable value before you invest real time and money.
Ground Truth Report
Provides a true reflection of today's reality. This includes a key findings narrative, baseline process metrics, and a visual current-state process map showing how work currently moves through the process.
Workflow diagnostics report
A powerful report that surfaces the bottlenecks and risks, quantifies the waste, and pairs it with opportunities for AI and automation so the most urgent problems and highest-potential solutions are visible.
Value/Complexity Prioritization
Solutions are proposed and scored with rigor through a collaborative session you complete with us. This exercise seeds the roadmap through a clear visual display of the relative impact and complexity of each opportunity compared to the others.
Improvement recommendations roadmap
A sequenced set of next steps so leadership knows what to fix first, how to phase the work, and can make clear distinctions between early wins and strategic bets. You can assign dates and owners to turn it into action.
Four weeks. One roadmap. A clear path forward.
This engagement is designed to keep you in the driver's seat, and let Accountemist's hybrid team provide direction and support.
ApplyHuman-led
Complete a short application and book a 30-minute meeting to mutually decide if the ROI is there and if the pilot is a fit.
OnboardHuman-led
We define scope, desired outcomes, and get to know your operating environment. We also provide success resources to help your team choose the right process, align internal stakeholders, and provision access to Agent Vera.
RunAI + Human
Agent Vera conducts the first round of interviews. Our Lean Six Sigma expert validates artifacts with your operators, runs an interactive session to identify and score solution ideas, and delivers the executive readout of the full deliverables package.
CloseHuman-led
One debrief meeting to understand what went well and what didn't, plus the final deliverables package handed over to your team.
A strong fit if you want a clearer entry point into workflow transformation
- Have a workflow involving multiple roles, handoffs, or systems
- Need a stronger business case before buying more software or AI tools
- Want data to support a technology decision instead of intuition from a small group of people
- Are willing to document how work actually happens today
- Already have a strong pipeline of AI use cases and need developers to implement them
- Not open to implementing any AI platforms (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to build AI solutions
- Are not prepared to involve operators and stakeholders in the assessment
Questions firms ask before joining the founding cohort
Why launch this through the Innovation Lab?+
The Innovation Lab is how Accountemist introduces new services in a tighter, faster feedback loop. Founding cohort firms get early access and we get real-world signal on the delivery model before the service scales.
What kinds of workflows are a good fit?+
The strongest candidates are repeatable workflows with visible delays, manual effort, cross-functional handoffs, inconsistent inputs, or pressure to add AI without a clear execution plan.
What does the 30-minute meeting cover?+
We use the meeting to confirm fit, verify the workflow is worth assessing, answer questions about the pilot, and determine whether your firm belongs in the founding cohort.
What happens to our information?+
Assessment inputs are used to produce your deliverables and improve our methodology. We keep client-specific information confidential and use standard engagement documents before work begins.
What happens after the pilot?+
You can use the findings internally or continue into a larger Accountemist engagement if the pilot confirms a strong opportunity.
